Lanzhou Petrochemical 12# Block triple play FTTH project
In 2010, Lanzhou Petrochemical launched the FTTx construction project on the 12th block, which is the largest residential development and construction area in Lanzhou City. It has a wealth of public services and entertainment facilities. There are 19 high-rise residential buildings and 28 high-rise residential buildings. Seven multi-story public buildings, planning fiber-to-the-home scale of 6,100, is also the largest domestic single FTTH project of the year.
After fierce competition, Changguang Technology won the exclusive bid with its advanced solutions and rich resident FTTH implementation experience.
According to the user's construction idea, we proposed that the residential households adopt the EPON FTTH (fiber to the home) mode, and use the "single-fiber three-wave" technology to realize the transmission of the CATV optical signal in the EPON system, realizing the triple play of data, voice, and CATV. The community supporting facilities adopt the construction plan of EPON FTTB (Fiber to the Building). Apart from providing data and voice access, it can also use the EPON system as a transparent transmission platform to carry intelligent community services, including perimeter protection systems and video surveillance. System, electronic patrol system, parking lot management system, building visual intercom system, household alarm system, background music system and community information release system, etc.
In terms of equipment selection, based on the characteristics of high user access density, the central office equipment adopts the carrier-class rack-mount C8000. This type of equipment can provide complete service protection (main control board, power supply, fan) and large capacity (48 PON ports). Access capability of the user side; the user side uses the triple play unit OUN M3-0421 and the MDU type ONU M3-16B0; the entire network is fully managed centrally through the OPView network management system to ensure that the user is provided with a safer, faster, content service A richer, easier-to-operate network.
